Infant constipation/hard stools

Very low urgency
--
The baby's faecal matter has a hard, dry consistency, more like a stone. It often looks like "pellets" in the nappy. It may be accompanied by difficulty or discomfort in passing stools, which the baby expresses with crying, less frequent bowel movements than usual, and sometimes blood.
