Erythematous skin area with vesicles, blisters and/or petechiae

On the damaged skin, which is more pink in colour, there are raised, rounded lesions, a few millimetres to a few centimetres in size, which may be filled with fluid. These lesions may burst and release this fluid. They may be accompanied by burning, itching, pain, etc.
