Within minutes or a few hours after taking a medicine, a red rash have appeared on the skin. It may appear all over the body or be localised to a particular area. It may be accompanied by a burning and/or itching sensation. This colouration is best assessed in light to medium-toned complexions rather than in darker skin tones.
