Intense pain felt in the abdominal area that is aggravated by pressing on the skin, when the abdominal muscles are put under tension. The intensity of it is so hard that makes it difficult to contract the belly. It is caused by irritation of the peritoneum, the layer that surrounds the inside of the abdomen.
