Oral aphtha

Appearance of a painful sore or open wound on the lining of the mouth. It hurts especially when touched by the tongue or by food, especially if it is acidic. They are whitish or yellowish with red edges. They vary in size (between 2 and 10 millimeters) and take a few days to heal without leaving a scar.
